Thank you for reaching out to contact me! However, before you send your message, I want you to know that simply sending me an e-mail does not create an attorney-client relationship between us. Before any attorney-client engagement may be formed, Hyperion will need to check for possible conflicts of interest and consider whether to accept the potential engagement. Similarly, you will need to consider whether you wish to retain Hyperion as counsel. In the meantime, Hyperion reserves the right to represent parties with interests adverse to yours. Therefore, I ask that you not send me any confidential information in your e-mail. If you understand this and wish to continue with sending an email, please click “ok”ok

I’ve been running Hyperion Law for exactly four months today. Why start a blog now?
Lawyers are typically trained to be wary of creating any sort of unnecessary Written Record. And when we do need to create one, it needs to be complete, but not over-inclusive, capable of being shown to judge and jury (and opposing counsel!), and crafted with an awareness that it Can And Will Be Used Against Us. That’s a high bar to apply to a blog …
One of the things I need to be able to do though, to implement my visions for Hyperion, is to strike off in a different direction from the conservative norm. And my motivation to blog comes from the idea that we could create a corner of the world for meaningful conversations between technologists, lawyers, philosophers, entrepreneurs, and curious minds from all over the globe… So, with that in mind, here I am. Getting over it. Wish me luck!!
